Our story began in 1998, when as a practicing architect and new mother, I was challenged by the lack of options available in the market for an effective, locally made, chemical and irritant free, natural baby cream to help our own baby’s very sensitive skin. Armed with a life long passion for growing organic flowers and herbs for home remedies, and the love for my children and concern for environmentally friendly practices, I developed a Moisturizing Salve with Calendula and Lavender. It did Work Wonders and continued to be truly effective as an all-purpose skincare remedy for many of our friends and family. After so many testimonials crediting the Salve as a wonder product, I was compelled to consider offering our amazing salve to other local families. So in 2004, this business and my long-term commitment to our customers was born and continues to build around growing the ingredients for and handcrafting the original versatile salve.
